Get Your Voice Heard

Yesterday, The Bureau of Cannabis Control (BCC) announced that the Cannabis Advisory Committee will be holding a series of subcommittee sessions on February 13th in San Francisco. According to the BCC, ten subcommittees will meet to discuss and develop recommendations to the state's cannabis licensing authorities' formal rule-making packages. The public is invited to participate by submitting input by way of survey monkey, which can be found on the BCC's portal or by clicking the link here.  Please don't miss your chance to be heard! The deadline to submit input is Tuesday, February 6th. The subcommittee meetings will not be available to view by webcast. However, if you're in the Bay area, the meetings are open to the public. Subcommittee sessions are scheduled to begin at 9 am and 1 pm. at the Sheraton Grand Hotel located at 1230 J Street, in San Francisco.

 

In case you missed it, the first Advisory Committee Meeting of 2018 was held a couple of weeks ago. According to the BCC, the meeting, took place in Sacramento and was a success. The turnout was impressive and included a live webcast of the event. In addition to regular housekeeping items, the agenda consisted of discussion and a vote on the "Cannabis Advisory Committee Handbook" and "Informational Presentations for 2018  Meetings." The next Advisory Committee is scheduled to meet Thursday, March 15th, in Los Angeles from 10 am - 4 pm location TBD.
